Everton (a) Prediction and Preview
Leeds visit Goodison Park for the first time in 17 years tommorow evening (Saturday 5:30pm) looking for a first win in four in the Premier League.
17 years? So long ago that Leeds legend kept goal for the toffees and a seventeen year old Wayne Rooney with all his original hair came off the bench with the game already won with Everton leading 4-0 through a Steve Watson hat-trick (from right back!!) and a Duncan Ferguson goal.

Goodison Park has barely changed at all since our last visit but the two sides have and this will be an intriguing showdown between two footballing godfathers in Carlo Ancelotti and Marcelo Bielsa. Everton and Leeds have been possibly two of the division’s most entertaining teams in the early stages of this season before both arresting a run of bad results with points on the board last week.
Leeds will be without PabloHernandez again and also Diego Llorente will have to wait longer for his Leeds Debut. I would personally go unchanged from the Arsenal game but would like to see Rodrigo have a longer contribution from the bench.
Last 5 games:
Everton: WLLLD
Leeds: DLLWL
Prediction:
Everton have impressed me on the whole. They are suspect at the back with the liability that is Jordan Pickford in goal but the midfield of Doucoure and Allan behind an interesting trio up front of James Rodriguez. Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin who is developing into a fantastic number 9 make them dangerous going forward.
Leeds got back to what they do well last week and I expect a close game but unfortunately I am predicting a narrow defeat for the whites this week.
Everton 2-1 Leeds United
